Just as God gave Moses the Ten Commandments - the rules that He wanted His people to follow -

God also gave Jesus new rules for living - not to abolish the old laws,  but to fulfill them and perfect them (Matthew 5:17).

The ancient Israelites understood that the Law of Moses was a revelation of the wisdom of God.

It was their sure guide of conduct, and God blessed them when they followed it.  However, God did not intend the law to be His final word.

He  promised a new lawgiver and a new covenant (Deuteronomy 16:15; Jeremiah 31:31) that would perfect and bring to completion everything He began with the Ten Commandments.

This is exactly what Jesus has done for us.

What is A.E.C.C.? The American Evangelical Christian Churches. There are several hundred church bodies in existence in the USA and it isMichigan often difficult to distinguish one from another.  The American Evangelical Christian Churches was founded in 1944 and has ministered effectively ever since in Michigan,  practically every state, Canada and beyond.

Its churches and ministries are generally known as American Evangelical Christian, but its member clergy may serve other denominational or independent bodies while holding credentials with AECC.

Salvation

How is A.E.C.C. Distinct?  The movement is not committed to ecclesiastical standards or doctrines repugnant to human reason.  A.E.C.C. does not advocate extremism or fanaticism of any kind.  On the other hand if judged by the Word of God as authoritative, the doctrinal position of A.E.C.C. is fundamentally sound and many persons of ability are attracted to it by its evangelical and its orthodox character.

God's Word

The A.E.C.C., founded as an inter doctrinal ecclesiastical body, has Seven Articles of Faith to which each member must subscribe.  A.E.C.C. believe these to be the first and foremost doctrines of the Bible and are found in all evangelical teachings.
